I need to stop obsessing over things. Not Fang though, I'm not even going to try that.

Yes, I am hoplessly obsessed. Max Ride is on wikipedia. I found the discription of Fang, and I love it. It is very reveling. I bet he wasn't to happy about it getting on there. Anyway, here it is:

FANG

The black-winged Fang is the most solitary of the flock members. He is described as dark and silent, around 6 ft tall. Biologically, he appears to be Greek, Italian, Spanish, or Middle Eastern, with dark hair, dark eyes, and olive skin. He also is described as being very good looking. Fang is physically tougher than the rest of the flock, frequently taking punishing wounds and coming back again. Of all the Flock members, Fang is the closest to Max, whom he appears to harbor a crush on, frequently having late-night talks and confiding in each other things that they do not tell the rest of the flock. He did kiss Max on the forehead in the second book, something he would not normally do with his personality, but he did kiss another girl also. He seemed hurt when Max was asked out on a date with Sam, as he did not react to her announcement. Usually, it seems, he would burst out laughing. After Max's date, Fang goes into Max's room and inquires about it. When Max says it went fine, Fang replies with "So I dont have to kill him?"

Fang has an online blog by the name of Fang's Blog linked prominently from the Maximum Ride website, which appears as if written primarily by Fang, with occasional entries from Max, Nudge and Iggy.The name of the blog is 6 kids,12 wings,1 blog.

Fang also obviously dislikes Ari more than the rest of the flock. One reason, Ari nearly killed him twice, at the end of the first book and at the beginning of the second one. Another very possible reason is because Ari also has a crush on Max, so they are technically competing for her in a classic alpha-male situation in which the prize is beloved Max. He appears to be the only flock member with no special powers.

Personally, I think the whole thing about Ari is true. I was thinking that at the middle of the first book. Of course Fang has specail powers! He hides them!

Again: I am absolutly obsessed. And have no problem with that.

Fang?!

A while ago, I saw this young guy outside Walmart. He was most likely around the age of fourteen, he was wearing a black sweatshirt, and blue jeans. He had his back to me; I couldn't see his face. His sweatshirt hood was up, so I couldn't see his hair. He was waiting for his friends to unlock their bikes. He looked like I think Fang looks like. Until I saw his face. His hair was black, but his face didn't look right for Fang. I can't put my finger on it, exactly. It's not like he was ugly, or anything. He just looked kinda... I don't know... relaxed, I guess. His sweatshirt had "Bilabong" or something like that scrawled across the front. But it was nice to pretend that I had seen Fang. I was wondering at the time if I really wanted to see his face. *Sigh*. Oh yeah, the guy outside Walmart, he didn't have wings. At least I don't think he did. Hmmmm...

Max Ride clip. Freaky genetic scientists gone mad(er)? Or the fall (yeah right) of the School/Institute? If you have no idea what I'm talking about read Maximum Ride the Angel Experiment.
